Short biography:

Cedric obtained a PhD degree in engineering at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) in 2022. During his PhD, he focused on the development of a measurement device that aids physicians in diagnosing patients with respiratory diseases such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

In 2023, Cedric joined BIRA-IASB to help develop the NO2 camera, an imaging device for NO2 pollution. His responsibilities are the mechanical and electronics design of the camera, together with the scientific operation of the device and the data exploration of the measurement results. In addition, he supervises the occasional master thesis or internship.
